Congratulations to the Ocellus Lidar Team for a successful completion of a Preliminary Design Review!

SSAI’s David Giles (from NASA’s AERONET program out of Goddard Space Flight Center) recently visited the San Jose campus of the University of Costa Rica and trained members of the Ticosonde project to align and maintain their new AERONET instrument on the roof of the university’s Gas Lab. 

Developed by SSAI and Booz Allen Hamilton developers at the Atmospheric Science Data Center (ASDC), the Forum enables the scientific user community and subject matter experts from NASA Distributed Active Archive Centers (DAACs), along with a host of other contributors, to discuss research needs, data, and data applications.   

SSAI is supporting NASA by providing software and cloud engineering expertise.

NASA tasked Team SSAI with building a small instrument called ARGOS (Aerosol Radiometer for Global Observation of the Stratosphere) that will be launched on a satellite in Fall 2023.

SSAI provided mission software and science algorithm development and logistical support for the CPF project’s Critical Design Review (CDR).
