SSAIers have been busy helping to plan and lead events in celebration of Earth Day 2022.

Congratulations to all the SSAIers whose hard work led to the DEVELOP Software Carpentry Team’s receipt of a NASA Honor Award - Silver Group Achievement Award!

Members of the SSAI Science Education team along with administrators and curriculum specialists from Hampton City Schools are working to bring GLOBE learning opportunities to the students of Hampton, VA.

SSAI’s Global Learning and Observations to Benefit the Environment (GLOBE) Program team won the American Geophysical Union’s (AGU) 2021 Excellence in Earth and Space Science Education Award—demonstrating a sustained commitment to excellence in geophysical education.

This week, the Earth to Sky team hosted events at the National Association for Interpretation to help interpreters - educators like park rangers who help people emotionally connect to places - connect to NASA and NPS resources.   

For over 20 years, SSAI has played an integral role in managing, maintaining, and expanding the website’s features and content, as well as supporting the creative staff that work daily to curate the website’s compelling content for the public.
