Social Responsibility

Time and again, SSAIers have gone above and beyond in showing compassion for those in our local communities that need support.

Over the years, SSAI employees have volunteered with Habitat for Humanity to repair dozens of homes. We’ve partnered with local Adopt a Spot and Adopt a Trail programs to help keep our roads and parks clean and beautiful. We've sponsored American Red Cross blood drives to aid in the Red Cross’s lifesaving mission to keep up with the needs of local patients and hospitals. We've supported local animal shelters to help homeless pets in our communities find forever homes, among many other worthy causes over our 40+ years.

Many SSAI employees give back to our partner elementary schools throughout the year, not only through our various school supply and food/clothing drives, but by giving time to support Read Across America Day, serving as STEM Fair judges, mentoring students through the Lunch Buddy Program, and offering resume preparation classes for local parents.

Our responsibility extends beyond the community to doing our part to protect our home planet.

SSAI's fleet of electric and hybrid vehicles (playfully nicknamed by SSAIers CO2NOMO, NO2CO2, NOPOLUT, and CALIPSO) give SSAI employees an option for carbon-free local transportation when on company business or when traveling from out of town.
