Our Commitment to Supporting and Retaining Veterans
We know that beginning a civilian career brings challenges. That’s why we’ve invested in creating programs to help make that transition easier. As a newly hired veteran, you’ll be paired with a mentor to help you quickly assimilate to the SSAI Team. Veteran-focused Employee Resource Groups also allow you to connect with SSAI colleagues with shared experiences.
In recognition of our ongoing efforts in recruiting, employing, and retaining our nation’s veterans, SSAI was recently awarded a HIRE Vets Medallion Award. We have also been a Virginia Values Veterans (V3) Certified Employer since 2017. We are honored to be creating a place where veterans feel supported and can apply their knowledge to important scientific missions for our customers.
