In July 2021, SSAI completed a full ISO 9001 third-party audit with zero nonconformances. The resulting 3-year recertification indicates that we follow robust and repeatable quality processes.
In November 2020, SSAI was appraised at CMMI Maturity Level 2, an important recognition of the high quality of service we provide to our customers and a significant next step in our growth as a company.
We manage personnel security clearances for employees as needed. We use certified business systems for accounting, billing, purchasing, and property management.
We perform the majority of our work as a Prime contractor on small business set-asides within the 541715 NAICS Code, with multiple teaming arrangements where SSAI serves as a subcontractor supporting multiple areas of science, engineering, and information technology. SSAI looks at each opportunity individually and works cooperatively with our teaming partners to determine which Prime-Sub relationship makes the most sense.
SSAI remains fully committed to supporting our longtime customers at NASA, NOAA, NIH, EPA, USDA, USAID, DoD, and other Federal agencies, but we are always receptive to new opportunities to grow and diversify our capabilities and our customer base.
