Ozone research remains a high priority for the scientific community. SSAI scientists are an integral part of this mission, and many have worked side by side for decades with their NASA colleagues who specialize in ozone research.

The SSAI- and ASRC-staffed Worldview Team enhanced 900+ imagery products offered through NASA's Global Imagery Browse Services (GIBS).

SSAI’s system engineers supporting ESDIS created two metrics repositories and one new datasets repository to house the information by category, established formatted templates for metrics report generation, and implemented the repositories in a centralized location that is available to the public without log-in or permission restrictions.

SSAI’s IT team successfully developed the EPRS application, which has significantly reduced the inefficiencies of the legacy system by making it easier for users to submit, approve, and track purchase requests and by eliminating the need for data reentry.

The SSAI Electrical Systems Engineering Services team provides exemplary electrical/electronic engineering support services and related work to the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) and other NASA facilities.

Team SSAI has been providing key support for more than a decade to the Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometric Suite (VIIRS) on-board of the Joint Polar Satellite System (JPSS) missions.
