At Science Systems and Applications, Inc (SSAI), our female contributions, resilience, and brilliance continue to inspire us all! Our celebration of female excellence continues as we highlight the incredible talents and stories of our amazing women employees throughout #WomensHistoryMonth and beyond. Join us in honoring their contributions and inspiring journeys! 

Ayia Lindquist has been working as a Climate Change Outreach and Engagement Coordinator at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center for the past year. She has become heavily involved in environmental justice issues. Before coming to SSAI, Ayia worked in environmental education with the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center (SERC) and Patuxent Riverkeeper, creating a curriculum for students living in frontline communities. She has also worked in policy, serving as the community coordinator for Maryland District 30 for Senator Sarah Elfreth, and has been a volunteer with the Maryland Campaign for Environmental Human Rights.
